Purpose
The purpose of the Licensing Sub-Committee is
to deal with applications, determinations and reviews of licensing
and registration functions of the Authority.
Functions
The functions of the Licensing Sub-Committee
are:
1.
To deal with applications, determinations and reviews of licences
under the Licensing Act 2003, or any amending legislation, as set
out in Section 3 of the Council’s Constitution.
2.
To deal with applications, determinations and reviews of licences
under the Gambling Act 2005, or any amending legislation, as set
out in Section 3 of the Council’s Constitution.
3.
To deal with any matter related to an application, determination or
review of a licence under the Licensing Act 2003 or the Gambling
act 2005, or any amending legislation.
4.
To deal with applications, determinations and reviews of licences
or for registration, and any related matter, in respect of any
licensed activity that is the responsibility of the Authority,
other than under the Licensing Act 2003 or the Gambling Act
2005.
5.
To regulate, where necessary, its own procedures to deal with any
matter arising in connection with the Licensing Act 2003 or the
Gambling Act 2005.
