Minutes:

The Chair of the committee explained that no public questions had been received from residents in advance of the meeting and welcomed questions from attendees.

Vanessa Skinner asked a question relating to parking issues on the Flowers Estate and the stress this was causing to residents. Officers encouraged Ms Skinner to log issues with the council’s Parking Strategy team. The Chair agreed to email the relevant team to log issues and explain that there was appetite for renewed consultation on a parking scheme in the area.

Nikki Sutton asked a question relating to the incomplete painting of yellow lines at various places across the ward including opposite Millside. Officers encouraged Ms Sutton to report these issues to the council with photographs as evidence so officers could determine what work was still to be carried out and the exact locations.

A third resident asked a question relating to infrastructure provision in the local area, including bus services and medical practitioners. Officers encouraged the resident to raise issues or ideas about bus routes with the Public Transport Liaison Group and to feed back to the council through the public consultation on Sutton Town Centre.
