Consideration and Hearing Sub-Committee

Purpose and function

9.12    To consider the monitoring officer’s investigation report and to hold a determination hearing in accordance with the Local Government Act 2000, as amended by the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, and the Standards Committee (England) Regulations 2008.

Composition:

9.13    A minimum of one independent member and two elected members of the Standards Committee.  The meeting of the Sub-Committee must by chaired by the independent member.
