Assessment Sub-Committee

Purpose and function:

9.8       To consider the action to be taken on allegations of a failure to comply with the Council's Code of Conduct, in accordance with the provisions in the Local Government Act 2000, as amended by the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, and the Standards Committee (England) Regulations 2008.

Composition:

9.9       One independent member and two elected members of the Standards Committee.  The meeting of the Sub-Committee must by chaired by the independent member.
